Māra - cotton calico shroud set
  • Māra - cotton calico shroud set

A pure cotton calico shroud eco printed with leaves of eucalyptus, passionfruit, grevillea and wild geranium gathered from the artists garden. These botanicals are wrapped up with the fabric and, using a completely eco friendly process, the  colours and prints from the leaves are infused permanently into the fibres.  Dignified, exquisite, natural and unique.

The set includes 6 metres of ribbon dyed with rhubarb to secure the shroud after wrapping. Please refer to the section on shrouding for instructions on how to wrap. Both shroud and ribbons are enclosed in a silk bag for storage. This bag is suitable as an urn for natural interment of ashes, or to keep as a memento.
