Silk Pet Shroud - small
  • Silk Pet Shroud - small

To create the prints on this pure satin shroud, the artist has sustainably gathered local windfall autumn leaves of alder, grevillea, pohutukawa and olive. These botanicals are then wrapped up with the silk and, using a completely eco friendly process, the  colours and prints from the leaves are infused permanently into the fibres.  Ake Ake Shrouds offer you an elevated aesthetic on a simple and age old tradition. Dignified, exquisite, natural and unique.

This shroud set included hand dyed ribbons to secure the fabric when wrapped and comes in a drawstring silk bag to for storage, and as a keepsake memento.
